Qualifying rounds

In Tulle at the Marie Laurent Hall ( 20 minutes max ) on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th December 2006

* Not marked : a piece from the repertory or improvisation permitting the Acquaintance with the instrument ( 2 minutes maximum in length ).

* Bach : any Prelude and Fugue from "Das Wohltemperiert Klavier" vol. 1 or 2

* Chopin : any study from the following
Op.10 N°1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9
Op 25 N°3-4-5-6-8-9-10-11

* Poulenc : Two choosen improvisations

Semi Final

Semi finale on Saturday 9th December 2006 at the Brive Theater(40 minutes maximum )

A work from the following harpsichordists:
CIMAROSA, COUPERIN, RAMEAU, SCARLATTI, PADRE SOLER.

* BEETHOVEN : one sonata from the following:
Op.10 nr. 3, op.27 nr. 1, op.31 nr. 3, op.53 Waldstein, op.54, op.52 (Appassionata), op.78, op.81 A, op.101, op.106, op. 109, op.110, op.111.

* Any study by one of the following composers :
DAMASE, DEBUSSY, LIAPOUNOV, LIGETTI, LISZT, PROKOFIEFF, RACHMANINOFF, SCRIABINE, STRAVINSKY, SZYMANOVSKI.

* A romantic work.

* Two works by F. Poulenc : Intermezzo in A flat major
Presto en B flat minor

Final

- Final-recital on Monday 11th December at Brive Theater (60 minutes maximum )

Works choosen by the candidate, among them a work by Francis Poulenc (10 minutes maximum) and a work by a composer from the same country as the candidate.


- Final-concerto

. Final with accompaniment of a second piano on Wednesday 13th December at the Noriac Hall in Limoges.

One concerto choosen by the candidate in the following list:
BEETHOVEN 1-2-3, CHOPIN 1 et 2, a HAYDN choosen concerto , LISZT A flat Major
E flat Major, a MOZART choosen concerto, PROKOFIEFF nr.3, RACHMANINOFF nr.1 and 2, RAVEL G Major, SCHUMANN A minor.


. Final with Limoges ad Limousin Symphonic Orchestra on Thursday 14th December at Limoges Opera Theater.

Imposed work : Concerto for piano and orchestra by F. POULENC.
